Being with Family

Just wanted to share some recent photos of the newest member of my family - my nephew Josiah (SunJae, Yoshie ... yeah, I know he's going to be one confused kid growing up with three different names!). I was down in NC last weekend, and even though it was simple times - no video games, cable tv or much internet - I really enjoyed just spending quality time with my parents and brother & his family. Josiah is the cutest little baby - he does things that just warms your heart. I'm sure that Justin and Yuri were both just as cute as babies as well, but it's so long ago and I was so young, I wasn't able to truly appreciate it.

Rob was especially good with Josiah and the two of them had a lot of fun playing together. All weekend long though, all I got from my mom and sister in law was how he's so good with kids, and he's totally ready to be a father. Haha - you know, I don't worry that either of us won't be perfectly capable of taking care of children when the time comes. But we're both just too selfish and young to want to be tied down permanently right now. Maybe in a few years though. If I could steal Josiah away, I totally would. =) Josiah was pretty sad to see us go, as was I. I hope I get to see him again soon!

<3 ~ Happy V. Day ~ <3

A few Valentine's related updates from me to put you in the romantic scrapping mood~

Here's a coordinating card & hexagonal gift box (cut using my handy dandy Silhouette) which I put candy goodies in for my hubby. I love the little tag on the gift box - it says "snuggle bug" and has this cute little bug on it.

I helped my niece make these Valentine's goody bags for her best friends Riley, Jackie, and Livia. We used one of the die cuts in the K&Company Paper Crafting Pad - Purses/Tiny Totes as a template for cutting these out and used leftover embellishments from the kit.

Also - helped Yuri make a few cards to add to her St. Judes Children's Hospital fund drive. She's now concentrating on making beaded jewelry to sell as well.

The Birthday Girl

Okay, I had to keep this under wraps until Joan got it in the mail and actually opened it. And thank God that she actually did receive it. I thought I was being careful by sending it priority mail with delivery confirmation, but there was about a 1/2 hr where I was really scared the Post Office had lost it. It's been showing that it was delivered since last Friday, but neither Joan's office or the post office seemed to remember what had happened to it. Anyway, thankfully, they tracked it down and delivered it.

Giants Fans Rejoice~

That was one of the most exciting 4th quarters I've ever watched. I have no doubt that I'll be seeing at least 3 patches of vomit on the ground on my walk to work tomorrow. =) But this one time, I'll view it all good-naturedly. Go Eli! (although personally I'm a much bigger Peyton fan)

Happy Birthday Joan~~~!

Happy 27th Birthday to my dearest friend Joan. I *heart* you! I finally got around to making a scrapbook album of our friendship to commemorate - but more details later.

Off to make some valentine's cards with my neice!
